Short version: no tracking cookies, no advertising, and the only analytics is a cookieless page counter that can't identify you. Nobody's being followed around the internet on my account. There's one exception — a referral code — and it's described below rather than buried.
The longer version is below, and it's short too, because the site genuinely doesn't do much. Last updated September 2026.
If you use the contact form
The form on Work With Me asks for your name, email, what you're interested in, and a message. It's handled by Formspree, which passes it on to my inbox.
I use it to reply to you. That's it. I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't pass it to anyone else.
If you buy a print
Checkout runs on Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to me — I never see them and they never touch this site. What I do see is your name, email, and shipping address, because I need them to get the print to you.
Prints are made and shipped by Prodigi, so your name and shipping address go to them to print and post your order. Nothing else does.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, which page was requested. That's ordinary infrastructure logging and I don't do anything with it.
The typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads, and Google sees your IP address. I mention it because it's true, not because I like it.
One thing the site remembers
If you come to a print from one of my guides or from a Pin, the link carries a short code saying which one sent you. Your browser keeps that code until you close the tab, and hands it to Stripe if you buy something.
That's the only way I can tell which writing actually led to an order. It isn't a cookie. It doesn't identify you. It goes nowhere except Stripe at checkout, and it's gone when you close the tab.
I post pictures of my own photographs to my own Pinterest boards, some of them through Pinterest's API using a tool I built. That tool reads my own boards, so it knows where to post, and reads the figures for my own Pins — how many people saved one, how many clicked through. It reads nobody else's Pins, boards or account.
None of what it reads is shared with anyone, sold, or used for advertising. It lives on my own computer.
If you arrive here from a Pin, the link carries the same short referral code described above, and behaves the same way. What Pinterest itself collects while you are on Pinterest is covered by Pinterest's privacy policy, not this one.
Counting visits
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people read a page. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, and does not follow you to any other site. It does not build a profile of you, and it gives me no way to identify anyone.
What I see is aggregate: how many times a page was viewed, roughly where in the world visits came from, and which site linked here. I cannot see who you are or what else you looked at.
I added this so I can tell whether the guides I write are useful to anyone. It is the least I could add and still answer that question. If I ever change to something that collects more, I will update this page and say so here.
What this site doesn't do
- No tracking or advertising cookies. No pixels, no retargeting, no ad networks.
- No selling or sharing your information. There's nothing to sell and I wouldn't.
- No accounts, no logins, nothing that follows you to another site.
